Ground Turkey or Chicken
I can’t tell you why, but it is very hard to find ground turkey or chicken here in France! As a lighter substitute for ground beef or pork, I sometimes like to cook with ground white meat and find it frustrating that it is rarely available at the supermarket.

Some butchers will grind (hacher) turkey or chicken if you ask them too, but not at all. I bought the 'hachoir’ or meat grinder attachment for my Kenwood Cooking Chef, but if you don’t have a meat grinder, I’ve found that doing it in a food processor works just fine as well! I was surprised because visually it does not look exactly the same, but once cooked, you can hardly tell the difference!
Just cut your chicken or turkey breast in 2-inch (5-cm) hunks, place them in the bowl of your food processor with the blade attachment and pulse until well ground. And voila!
